Catch This!

The Game

Catch This is a competitive top down multiplayer game.  In Catch This you play as mutants who now roam the earth after the apocalypse.  Some humans have gained the unnatural ability to extend out their arms  in any direction they choose. These new mutant are captured and forced to fight against each other in a game called Blade Ball. Competitors must throw a saw blade with explosives on it to score goals and kill their opponent.  

What is Done

The game includes all major features in it s current state. One player utilizes the keyboard and mouse while the other uses a controller. You are able to score goals and cut each other's arms off. 

What is next

Next up in development will be refining player movement and bug fixes. We will implement improved animations, and a start/win screen.  Game sound effect have been made and will be implemented into the next build. Additional juice is also slotted to be added such as screen shake and wall sparks from bouncing blades.
